I don’t really know anything about kids (well, maybe a little, since I worked with 3-4 year olds in daycare for a few years)… BUT, it seems to me that delayed gratification for the purposes of teaching her something at the age of 2 would only serve to be frustrating as she wouldn’t understand why you were making her wait (if she was aware she had presents in the first place).

I lost faith in idol when Ruben beat Clay Aiken. What did Ruben do after that? Where did he go? No one knows. I haven’t watched it since.

i can vouch for that. it’s cute when you’re a toddler, but when you do that when you’re a teenager, people call you aggressive. sheesh!

After seeing that movie Jumper I would like to teleport. Teleporting would be really freaking cool. Sans the religious freaks of course, but maybe you can protect me with all your super mom abilities.

When you hang laundry out to dry you can’t do it marathon style. It’s a blessing and a curse. It makes it so you can do a little every day possibly preventing yourself from feeling overwhelmed, but it does mean you’re doing a load nearly every day. I think last summer when I was home 24/7 I did a load 4 days per week, so a little more than every other day. Not using the dryer more than off-set the increased A/C I was using since I was home more.
