Everyone always tells you that you won’t be getting much sleep when you have a newborn. Then you always thank them, shrug it off and carry on.
Chiche or not, they’re right.
It dosn’t become real until you’re sitting there not really knowing what day of the week it is, how long its been since your kid was born, or when you ate last. At one point Tiff likend her disorientation to feeling drunk.
Well, the good news is that after some practice you can sort out a schedule. People aren’t lieing when they say you’ll be tired, but it is a tad misleading. You’re tired so long as you allow yourself to be. Tiff figured out how to get Chloe to eat more effeciently and has nighttime feedings down. Between that and naps things aren’t quite as grim now.
While you’ll get a lot of parenting advice from well meaning folks, take this bit to heart: Take naps.
