We’re at the doctor now. As has been the case for a bit now everything is great. Just a couple of weeks left!

The checked the fetal heartbeat, position, and amniotic fluid level. It all checked out fine.

37 weeks and counting! Tiff had around 19 hours of contractions last Friday, but they stopped around 3am. I suspect she won’t make it the whole way to our scheduled c-section on the 3rd.

We’ll see.

It seems hard for me to believe, but we’ve had the DMCA for 7 years now. The EFF recently updated their Unintended Consequences Report with the latest happenings (Summary outline here). Check it out if you haven’t seen it before. Its an interesting read.

As for the NSA wiretapping fiasco, this is another EFF related bit of news [EFF Class-Action suit against AT&T]:

The Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) filed a class-action lawsuit against AT&T on January 31, 2006, accusing the telecom giant of violating the law and the privacy of its customers by collaborating with the National Security Agency (NSA) in its massive and illegal program to wiretap and data-mine Americans’ communications.

UPDATED: added more info on the EFF class-action suit

Now that I’ve neglected updating things for a while I thought I’d toss new info up.

The baby’s name is going to be Chloe, we finally told our parents the name mid-March.

Right now she’s a footling breech and is very unlikely to turn. Due to the risks of a breech birth we have a Caesarian section scheduled for May 3rd.

I finally got around to bumping up the WordPress and Gallery2 revs (including the integration between the two). Fortunately the WPG2 integration between WordPress 2.0.2 and Gallery 2.1 is pretty slick now.

Aside from that, I’m sure that there are some broken links and or layout bits. If you come across stuff, please let me know.
